Terms of Service
Welcome to SongReveal. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "the customer") and Vinyls Limited ("SongReveal", "we", "us"), the operator of the website songreveal.com (the "Service"). By placing an order or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
1. The Service
SongReveal creates personalised, AI-assisted songs based on a brief you provide (names, occasion, memories, preferred style and so on). For each order you receive a free 1-minute preview before any payment. After you approve the preview and pay, we deliver the full song as an audio file together with the lyrics.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. You confirm that the personal details you submit in the brief either describe yourself or are submitted with the consent of the person they describe.
3. Orders and pricing
- Each song is sold as a one-time purchase. There is no recurring charge and no subscription.
- Prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) on the order page and may change at any time. The price you see at the moment of payment is the price you pay.
- Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout.
- Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC), acting as our merchant of record. We do not store your full card details.
4. Delivery
- The free 1-minute preview is generated within a few minutes of submitting the brief.
- The full song, after payment, is delivered to your email within 24 hours in the vast majority of cases. In rare situations involving provider load or manual review the full delivery may take up to 72 hours.
- Song length is approximate. The final song length is determined by the AI music generator and may vary by ±30 seconds from the option you selected (2 or 3 minutes). We do not guarantee an exact runtime.
- Delivery is digital only. We do not ship physical media.
5. Licence and ownership
Once full payment is received, you receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use the delivered song for personal, non-commercial purposes — for example, as a gift, on social networks, at family events, in private videos. We retain copyright in the underlying composition and recording. Commercial use (paid streaming, advertising, broadcast, resale, sync to commercial video) requires a separate written licence from us.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to submit briefs that contain:
- hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, harassing or threatening content;
- content that targets a minor in an inappropriate way;
- lyrics, poems or other text copied or adapted from existing songs or other copyrighted works — including versions where names or individual words have been changed;
- content that infringes the rights of any third party;
- content that you do not have permission to submit on behalf of the person it concerns.
We reserve the right to refuse, edit or cancel any order that we believe falls outside these limits. In such cases the preview is not delivered and no charge is made.
7. Your content and your responsibilities
You are responsible for everything you submit in a brief — names, story, memories and any text or lyrics you provide. By submitting a brief you represent and warrant that:
- the content is your own, or you hold all rights and permissions needed to submit it;
- the content does not copy or adapt the lyrics, melody or other elements of any existing song or other copyrighted work — including where names or individual words have been changed;
- the content does not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights of any third party;
- any person described in the brief is you, or has given you their consent to be featured in a song.
We may (but are not required to) screen briefs and decline or cancel any order that appears to use third-party copyrighted material. You remain solely responsible for the content you submit.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Vinyls Limited and its officers, employees and partners from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) content you submitted in breach of Section 7; (b) your misuse of the Service; or (c) your violation of these Terms or of any third-party right. This obligation survives termination of your use of the Service.
9. AI-generated content
Songs are generated with the assistance of AI models from third-party providers. While we apply layers of fact-checking, retries and human-style editing, AI output may occasionally contain inaccuracies or unexpected phrasing. You acknowledge this nature of the Service and accept the song as a creative interpretation of your brief, not as a literal record of facts.
10. Refunds
Our refund policy is described in detail at Refund & Cancellation and is incorporated into these Terms.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to your use of the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.
12. Changes to the Service and the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
13. Disputes
If a dispute arises, please contact us first at support@songreveal.com — we make a good-faith effort to resolve issues informally before any formal step. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
